Xiaomi Rolls Out Its New Flagship-Killing 11T Series

Xiaomi has announced the 11T smartphone series, which will supplant the Mi 10T series as the company’s new midrange lineup. The news was announced at a virtual event on Wednesday, during which the business unveiled three new models: the 11T Lite 5G, 11T, and 11T Pro.

A 5,000mAh battery powers the Xiaomi 11T series. The Xiaomi HyperCharge 120W technology is supported by the Pro version.

A 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), over 1 billion colours, 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate, and 480Hz touch sampling is included on the Xiaomi 11T series.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro’s 120W charging technology can charge the phone from 2% to 100% in under 17 minutes. Because of its essential 34 battery charging features, real-time temperature monitoring, and other precautions, this charging system has received TÜV Rheinland Safe Fast-Charge System Certification.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 CPU is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage in the Xiaomi 11T Pro. A liquid cooling system controls the thermals on the pair.

A centred punch-hole, 20:9 aspect ratio, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 1000 nits peak brightness characterise this DisplayMate A+ panel. HDR10+, Dolby Vision (only Pro), TrueColor, Sunlight Mode 3.0, and Reading Mode 3.0 are all supported by the screen.

The Xiaomi 11T has a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top. It comes with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra SoC and 8GB of RAM out of the box. A 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree field of view, and a telemacro shooter with an f/2.4 lens make up the phone’s triple rear camera arrangement. Up to 8K video recording and “end-to-end” HDR10+ capabilities are also possible with the back camera arrangement.

The Xiaomi 11T has a storage capacity of up to 256GB. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR) blaster, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity possibilities. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the side. Additionally, the phone has dual speakers and Dolby Atmos capability. It also comes with a 5,000 mah cell.

Along with the 11T series, Xiaomi also released the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. The new Xiaomi phone is said to have characteristics that are nearly identical to those of the Mi 11 Lite 5G. The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE will be very comparable to the Mi 11 Lite 5G in terms of specifications. The same triple rear camera configuration, a 20-megapixel selfie camera, and a hole-punch display design will all be present. However, unlike the Mi 11 Lite 5G, which is powered by a Snapdragon 780G, the new phone is rumoured to contain an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro costs 649 euros (approximately $770) for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and 749 euros ($890) for the 12GB/256GB model. The 11T is available for 499 euros ($590), while the 11 Lite 5G NE is available for 369 euros ($440).

Xiaomi smartphone pricing are maintained low, and the firm is able to deliver on a value-for-money promise that has helped it expand from a start-up to the world’s second-largest smartphone manufacturer.
