You can fly from the UAE to Oman for less than 60 Dirhams

Travel from the UAE offers countless opportunities thanks to the constantly growing number of new flight routes, the dizzying selection of low-cost carriers, and the fact that most of the world is accessible in eight hours. However, if you’re searching for a getaway that won’t break the bank, you might want to think about packing your bags for Oman since flights to the Sultanate are presently available for just Dhs59.

That is the price of a one-way flight, full disclosure. With airfares starting at Dhs118, you’ll still spend less than the price of brunch even if you include the return leg.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi currently offers the flights out of Abu Dhabi Airport. The route from Abu Dhabi to Salalah offers the most affordable tickets, with one-way prices starting at Dhs59 and return prices starting at Dhs128. If Muscat is your final stop, the 75-minute flight from Abu Dhabi costs Dhs79 one-way or Dhs158 roundtrip.

Free carry-on luggage is offered with these fares, but it must fit under the seat in front of you. For passengers who need more luggage, rates that include a 20 kg checked bag and a carry-on bag start at Dhs472 for flights to Salalah and Dhs473 for flights to Muscat.

Flights from Abu Dhabi to Salalah are available every week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday through the end of May. A fifth weekly flight will be introduced on Sunday from June through October, and the weekday flights will now be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

As Khareef season approaches, now is the best time to travel to Oman’s lush Salalah region. Between June and September, this part of the region experiences what is essentially the monsoon season of the area.

Up to the end of May, flights are scheduled for three times per week on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Beginning in June, Wizz Air will add a fourth flight every Monday between Abu Dhabi and Muscat.

The largest mosque in the nation and a stunning opera house, as well as a thriving souk and a number of opulent resorts, can all be found in the capital city of Oman.
