100 Million Trees to be planted in the Coastal Areas of Balochistan

Malik Amin Aslam, SAPM- Special Assistant to Prime Minister on the Climate Change has recently said that the government was taking some major steps to promote tourism as well as the forest sectors while the Balochistan was the best region for the conservation of pure natural beauty.

Talking to the official mediapersons at the Quetta Press Club, Amin said that the target of planting about 10 billion trees Pakistan was being achieved through the public-private partnership in the country.

He further said that Pakistan was among the top 10 most affected countries due to climate change as well as famine due to the declining rainfall, meanwhile adding that rising the temperatures has adversely affected the areas of Balochistan and the tree plantation required to mitigate the major effects on the area.
