On February 27, Sunday, the intriguing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 finally came to an end with Lahore Qalandars winning the final.
However, as per reports, PSL 7 was viewed by 144 million people on television in Pakistan.
Only 76 percent of Pakistanis have access to television, and 73 percent of those watched the country’s domestic T20 league.
Further, the Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, Ramiz Raja announced that the PSL matches will be held in Peshawar and other cities around the country next year.
He also added, “Before the first ball was bowled, PSL 7 earnings increased to 71 percent, the highest in the league’s history, with each franchise earning around PKR900 million, which is again the highest in the league’s history.”
