18-Year-Old Pakistani VFX Artist Praised Online for Recreating ‘Shang-Chi’ Fight Scene

A recreation of a scene from Marvel’s ShangChi and the Legend of the Ten Rings by budding 18-year-old Pakistani visual effects artist Sohail Khan has garnered critical acclaim online.

Shared initially via his YouTube channel SKgame ON four months ago, a user praising the work shared the video on Twitter.

Since then, it has garnered over 5,000 likes and over 1,400 retweets.

The original video description reads, “This is a simple fight scene from ShangChi. I’m still learning VFX, so it’s not that great. If you like it, give it alike!” The video recreates a scene in which ShangChi and his father, Wenwu, face each other.

A user praised the video: “Apart from the visual effects, their facial expressions looked real and intense. These guys deserve a big round of applause.”

The video, quoted more than 200 times, wowed viewers, who urged the country’s young artists to get more support for their creative projects.
