Pm Imran Khan Boosts Morale Of T20 Squad, Asks Chairman PCB To Revisit Squad Selection

Prime Minister Imran Khan advised the T20 World Cup squad to do well in the forthcoming international cricket event during a meeting with the team. He also gave individual tips to key players of the team.

The Pakistani T20 World Cup squad landed at Prime Minister House on Wednesday to meet with Prime Minister Imran Khan. This meeting was arranged in order to encourage players and revive their confidence amid mega event.

The conference took place against the backdrop of the PCB’s recent major setback, which came after New Zealand and England abruptly cancelled their Pakistan trips. Imran Khan suggested them to play with an aggressive mindset and forget about the ongoing negativity.

“With his efforts and hard work, a person can alter its fate,” the prime minister remarked as he addressed the team, which included PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication, Shahbaz Gill and Senator Faisal Javed.

PM Imran Khan also requested that, if necessary, the PCB Chairman should revisit the World Cup squad in favor of the Pakistan Cricket Team.
