Olympian Yahya Butt, three-time Mr Asia and five-time Mr Pakistan, has died.
The president of the Punjab Bodybuilding Association acknowledged this.
Since last year, Yahya Butt has been battling cancer. He was receiving care at a private hospital.
Mr Pakistan Olympia had previously contracted coronavirus the previous year.
Yahya left the Punjab Police Force a few years ago to return to bodybuilding. He formerly ran his own gym and advised a sports manufacturing company on the production of gym equipment.
