700 Construction Workers of National Bank Stadium Treated to Lunch by Mohsin Naqvi

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi hosted a special lunch for over 700 construction workers to thank them for their hard work in upgrading the National Bank Stadium. The workers completed the renovation in just 120 days, making the venue ready for upcoming matches.

Naqvi praised their dedication and called them the real heroes behind the stadium’s transformation. As a token of appreciation, he invited them to watch the tri-nation ODI series match between Pakistan and South Africa, the first game to be played at the newly upgraded stadium.

Cricketer Mohammad Rizwan also spoke at the event, expressing the team’s commitment to performing well in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. He acknowledged the workers’ efforts in improving the stadium, which will now host exciting matches for fans.

The ceremony was attended by PCB officials, including Advisor Amir Mir and PSL CEO Salman Naseer. Their presence highlighted the importance of recognizing the efforts of those who work behind the scenes to support Pakistan cricket.
