NADRA to Install Automated Machines at THESE locations in Karachi

Karachi residents can now look forward to a hassle-free ID card application process as NADRA launches automated self-service kiosks across the city. These machines aim to cut waiting times and provide a seamless experience for obtaining essential identity services.

The self-service machines will be installed in high-traffic locations, including NADRA mega centers, airports, railway stations, shopping malls, universities, and government offices. This initiative follows a successful trial in Islamabad, where the technology significantly improved the efficiency of ID card applications.

With these machines, citizens can renew ID cards, replace lost ones, and apply for Child Registration Certificates (Form B) without visiting traditional counters. The process is straightforward—users enter their information, complete biometric verification, and take a photograph. A QR code generated at the end of the process enables easy fee payment through platforms like JazzCash, Easypaisa, or credit/debit cards.

The service will first roll out at NADRA mega centers in Karachi, with plans to expand to other locations soon. According to NADRA officials, the kiosks are designed to make ID services more accessible, saving time and effort for residents.

Once applications are completed, ID cards will be delivered within 15 to 30 days, depending on the selected processing speed.

This modernized approach is expected to benefit thousands of Karachiites by reducing long queues and simplifying the application process. By strategically placing these kiosks across the city, NADRA is taking a step toward bringing public services closer to the people, fostering convenience and accessibility.
