Pakistan Airfares May Rise as Jet Fuel Price Jumps by Rs. 9.05 Per Litre in Just Three Days

Jet fuel prices in Pakistan have increased by more than Rs. 9 per litre in just three days, reaching Rs. 355.52 per litre, according to airline sources. The latest increase comes as airlines continue to deal with changing operating costs and rising expenses.

The price reportedly increased by Rs. 9.05 between October 1 and 3, adding further pressure on airline operations. Since jet fuel represents a significant portion of an airline’s overall expenses, a sustained rise in fuel prices could affect the cost of air travel.

Airlines may now have to reassess their operating expenses in response to the higher fuel rates. If the additional costs are passed on to passengers, travelers could see changes in airfares in the coming days. The impact, however, will depend on individual airline pricing decisions and other market factors.
