PIA’s First Flight Departed for Paris after Over Four Years

PIA will restart direct flights to Paris starting January 10, after a four-year suspension by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This is a major step forward for the airline and Pakistan’s aviation industry.

PIA will operate two flights per week between Islamabad and Paris. Flights from Islamabad will leave at 11:30 AM and arrive in Paris at 4:00 PM. Return flights from Paris will depart at 6:00 PM and reach Islamabad by 5:00 AM.

This development is seen as a positive sign for PIA, which aims to restore its services to European cities. The airline is also planning to expand its network further by reintroducing flights to New York, but this will require additional approvals.

The resumption of these direct flights to Paris not only reconnects Pakistan with one of Europe’s major destinations but also provides a boost to tourism, trade, and travel for passengers. PIA is working on improving its services and expanding its routes to regain the trust of international travelers and authorities.

The airline’s efforts reflect a broader commitment to overcoming challenges and rebuilding its global presence. These flights are expected to strengthen Pakistan’s ties with Europe while offering more convenience to passengers traveling between the two regions.

With plans to expand further, PIA is taking steps toward a brighter future for Pakistan’s aviation sector.
