Dubai constructs the world’s deepest underwater city and sets a new Guinness World Record in the process

When it comes to its myriad tourism attractions, Dubai is far from finished pushing the limit. The world’s deepest pool, with a record-breaking depth of 196 feet, was just inaugurated in the city. The Deep Dive Dubai attraction, according to CNN, is housed in a 16,000 square foot facility and contains a “abandoned” underwater city for divers to explore.
