In a major step towards a greener and more sustainable future, Orient Electronics has joined hands with Eco Cart Energy (@ecocart.energy) to commission a cutting-edge 3 MW solar power plant at their factory.
Speaking on the occasion, Engr. Ammar Nasim (@ammarnasim), CEO of Eco Cart Energy, shared that the plant is expected to generate over 4 GWh of clean electricity annually, significantly reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
“This solar facility is not just about saving energy costs; it’s about creating a lasting environmental impact. Each year, the project will save approximately 4,160 tonnes of CO₂ emissions—equivalent to planting nearly 200,000 trees, removing 900 cars from the road, or saving 10,000 barrels of oil,” said Engr. Ammar Nasim.
The project is equipped with state-of-the-art LONGi solar modules, Huawei inverters, and fire-proof DC cabling, ensuring maximum efficiency, safety, and durability. Built to last, the system is designed to operate for 30+ years, delivering both economic and environmental savings for Orient Electronics well into the future.
