MM Alam was a legendary hero of Pakistan who became famous during the 1965 war between Pakistan and India. He made history by shooting down five Indian fighter planes in less than a single minute while flying his F-86 Sabre jet. In total, he destroyed nine enemy aircraft, a record that showed his amazing skills, courage, and quick decision-making in the air.
Because of his bravery, he was given great honor in the Pakistan Air Force and became the first fighter pilot to be included in the PAF Hall of Fame. He was also awarded the Sitara-e-Jurat and Bar, which are among the highest military awards in Pakistan.
