UAE Introduces New and Mandatory Requirement for All Visa Applicants

Applicants seeking entry permits for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will now be required to submit the outer cover page of their passport as part of the application process, as per new sources.

The change was confirmed by a representative of an Amer center, which handles visa and residency services in the UAE. A notice obtained by Khaleej Times further stated that the new requirement is effective immediately and must be fulfilled for all entry permit applications.

With this amendment, the updated list of mandatory documents includes a copy of the passport’s main page, a recent clear passport-sized photograph, hotel booking confirmation, a round-trip air ticket, and the newly added outer cover page of the passport.

While the reason behind the introduction of this additional requirement has not yet been clarified by the authorities, applicants are advised to ensure compliance to avoid delays or rejections in their applications.

This update follows other recent adjustments to UAE’s visa and entry policies, reflecting the country’s continued emphasis on streamlined and secure immigration procedures.
