Asad Umar, Minister of Planning and Development, announced two sports programs in “all federating units of the country” as part of the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP).
“Under the kamyab jawan initiative, two new PSDP [Public Sector Development Program projects for sports were reviewed. A talent-hunting programme and a program to build sports academies/high-performance centers are both in the works “On Twitter, Umar stated.
He stated, “Both will be done through the HEC [Higher Education Commission] and in all of the country’s Federating Units. It’s past time to put an end to sports’ decades-long neglect.”
On August 3, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry announced that the federal cabinet had approved the grant of Rs315 billion in loans to the youth through the Kamyab Jawan Program.
