Pakistan has received 179 electric buses from China, with the shipment arriving at Karachi Port aboard the vessel MV RUINING 6. The buses were transported from Yingkou, China, to Karachi Gateway Terminal Multipurpose Limited (KGTML).
The shipment has been consigned to Margalla Heavy Industries Limited. However, authorities have not yet announced the buses’ deployment locations or the date they will begin operations.
The Karachi Port Trust facilitated the arrival and unloading process, highlighting the port’s role in handling large-scale cargo and transportation equipment shipments.
