PM Imran Khan at the ceremony of inaugurating the Tarbela Dam’s fifth extension said, we save the water for irrigation for our farmers for using all around the year if we reserve them in Dams. He said, he is planning to build 10 dams in the coming ten years to conserve the water for future generations, including that the current water currently present will only last for three to four years.
He further added, the world is facing unparalleled environmental challenges never faced or thought of before including floods and forest fires all over the world, and alarming global climate change. PM said, for the safety of our future generations we will save water, including that Pakistan does not have cheap electricity due to not using water as the resource to produce electricity.
PM Imran khan said, government has not planned anything recently for Pakistan’s betterment, it only focuses on election-to-election policies which have ruined the system of elections in Pakistan.
