Hundreds of thousands of Muslims gathered at the Grand Mosque in Mecca on the 27th night of Ramadan, filling the streets and courtyards around the holy site.
The night is considered one of the most important nights of the Islamic month because many believers search for Laylatul Qadr, also known as the Night of Power.
Worshippers from different countries arrived early at Masjid Al Haram to take part in Isha and Taraweeh prayers. The mosque and the surrounding areas quickly became crowded as people gathered in large numbers to pray, recite the Quran, and ask for forgiveness and blessings.
The 27th night of Ramadan holds special spiritual importance for many Muslims. Although the exact date of Laylatul Qadr is not known, many believers believe it may fall on this night. Because of this belief, thousands of pilgrims and residents spend the entire night in prayer and reflection.
Inside the Grand Mosque, rows of worshippers filled every available space. The courtyards and nearby streets were also packed with people who wanted to be part of the prayers. The atmosphere was deeply spiritual as people stood shoulder to shoulder in worship.
Saudi authorities made special arrangements to manage the large crowds and ensure the safety of visitors. Security personnel, volunteers, and mosque staff worked throughout the night to guide worshippers and maintain order.
Despite the huge number of people, the gathering remained peaceful and organized. The sight of thousands of worshippers praying together created a powerful scene of faith and unity.
For many Muslims, spending the 27th night of Ramadan at Masjid Al Haram is a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual experience.
