Bangladesh is reportedly moving toward formal negotiations with China over a potential defence agreement that could include J-10CE fighter aircraft and attack helicopters.
Officials say the proposed deal is part of Dhaka’s broader efforts to modernise its air force and strengthen its overall defence capabilities.
China is already Bangladesh’s largest defence supplier, and the potential agreement could further deepen military cooperation between the two countries.
However, key details, including the number of aircraft and helicopters, total deal value and delivery timeline, have yet to be finalised and remain subject to negotiations.
