Field Marshal Asim Munir of Pakistan paid an official visit to the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), where he held a detailed meeting with the force’s senior leadership, including its commander. The visit formed part of his broader engagements in Tehran aimed at strengthening communication and understanding between the two countries.
During the discussions, both sides reviewed developments following the recent period of conflict and examined measures being implemented under the emerging post-conflict framework. The talks also built upon Field Marshal Munir’s earlier engagements in Tehran, allowing for continuity in dialogue and a deeper exchange of perspectives. Particular attention was given to the evolving regional security environment, as well as the challenges and opportunities related to long-term peace and stability.
Field Marshal Munir underscored the importance of sustained diplomatic and strategic efforts to reduce tensions and prevent further escalation. He stressed that consistent engagement, mutual understanding, and open channels of communication are essential for maintaining stability in the region. Both sides expressed a shared interest in promoting peace and agreed on the need to continue collaborative initiatives that support de-escalation and foster a more secure regional environment.
