Within a decade, world Tourism and travel council predicts that tourism industry of Pakistan can grow around US $39.8 billion. The current government has promised that Pakistan will be promoted as “Asia’s Best Kept Secret” in global tourism market.
By 2025, around $1 trillion will be contributed by tourism according to the current government. Tourism is a tool for sustainable development as countries like Thailand, Switzerland, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Maldives demonstrate.
