Pakistani students looking to continue their higher education abroad now have an opportunity to pursue a fully funded Master’s degree in Thailand. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has shared details of the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) Post-Graduate Scholarship Program 2027, which offers international students the chance to study in advanced science-related fields.
The scholarship is being offered by the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute in Thailand and is aimed at students interested in research and scientific studies.
Wide Range of Expenses Covered
Selected candidates will receive comprehensive financial support throughout their studies. The scholarship covers tuition fees, laboratory and research expenses, thesis costs, accommodation, international airfare, visa charges, health insurance, book allowance, and a monthly stipend.
Additional support may also be provided to help students settle in Thailand and manage relocation-related costs.
Available Study Programs
Students can apply for Master’s degree programs in the following disciplines:
- Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health
- Environmental Toxicology
- Chemical Sciences
The program is designed for students who want to build careers in scientific research, environmental studies, healthcare-related sciences, and other technical fields.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be under 30 years of age and hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 or an equivalent qualification.
Candidates should have an academic background in fields such as Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Molecular Biology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medical Technology, or related disciplines. Experience in laboratory research is also required.
Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency through IELTS, TOEFL, a university certificate confirming English as the medium of instruction, or other accepted evidence.
Application Process
HEC has clarified that the scholarship is offered directly by CGI Thailand. Interested students must submit their applications through the institute’s official online portal.
The deadline for applications is 31 August 2026, while scholarship results are expected to be announced around January 2027.
