LIVOLTEK and M&P Sign MoU for Battery Localization Manufacturing in Pakistan

LIVOLTEK, a global smart energy solutions provider, and Muller & Phipps Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. (M&P) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the localization of battery manufacturing in Pakistan.

The agreement was signed at the M&P Head Office in Karachi and marks an important step towards developing local battery manufacturing capabilities and strengthening Pakistan’s renewable energy ecosystem. The partnership will focus on LIVOLTEK’s advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), along with technical support and after-sales services.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Kamran Nishat, Chief Executive Officer; Mr. Jahanzeb Saeed, Director Telecom & Allied Business; Mr. Rashid ul Hassan, GM Factory; Mr. Munaf Lakda, Director Legal & Administration; Mr. Tariq Khan, Chief Financial Officer; Mr. Zeeshan Amanullah, GM Telecom; and Ms. Sumera Fazil, GM Corporate Sales from M&P. Representing LIVOLTEK were Mr. Max Ma, Director of Sales South Asia & Middle East; Mr. Aamir Shahzad, Distribution Capability Manager, LIVOLTEK Pakistan; and Mr. Huang Rui, Commercial & Logistics Manager.

The collaboration combines LIVOLTEK’s energy storage technology with M&P’s nationwide infrastructure and operational expertise. It is expected to support local value creation, improve access to advanced battery solutions, and contribute to Pakistan’s transition towards cleaner and more sustainable energy.

The partnership marks a significant milestone in strengthening Pakistan’s local renewable energy and battery storage industry.
