Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye have agreed to accelerate the deployment of military forces and defence capabilities in Saudi Arabia, according to Pakistan’s Foreign Office.
The development followed an emergency meeting held in Riyadh under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.
The Strategic Political and Defence Committee convened the meeting to review the latest security situation and discuss potential threats facing Saudi Arabia.
The discussions focused on strengthening coordination and ensuring a coordinated response to emerging security challenges.
The agreement marks a further step in defence cooperation among the three countries, with the deployment of military capabilities expected to be carried out rapidly.
