Pakistan Rupee Performing Well! Canadian Dollar Could Fall to Rs. 190

The Pakistani rupee is showing signs of strength against the Canadian dollar, with the CAD rate moving closer to the Rs. 190 level. On October 6, 2026, the Canadian dollar was trading around Rs. 194.16 in the interbank market, according to available currency market data.

The Canadian dollar has also faced pressure in international markets. Reuters reported that the currency fell to an 18 month low against the US dollar on October 5, reaching around US$0.7014. The decline came amid weaker Canadian economic data and broader strength in the US dollar.

If the Canadian dollar continues to weaken while the Pakistani rupee remains relatively stable, the CAD to PKR rate could move toward Rs. 190. However, this is a possible market level, not a confirmed future rate.

Currency values can change because of international market movements, interest rate decisions, inflation, trade conditions and demand for foreign currency. Pakistan’s exchange rate also depends on local dollar demand, foreign reserves and economic developments.
