Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder Block III fighter jet is receiving worldwide recognition. Pakistan delivered these jets to Argentina and sources have confirmed that Malaysia will soon be ordering them in considerable number.
Latest development also brings good news in this regard as Iraq has asked Pakistan to deliver 12 JF-17 Thunder Block III top of the line jets which have been manufactured at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra.
According to sources, this deal was being negotiated between the two nations for few months now but with the visit of Iraqi defense delegation led by Deputy Commander Iraqi Air Force this deal got finalized.
It is worth mentioning that Iraq will pay 664 million USD for the purchase of 12 fighter aircraft from Pakistan. This deal will be signed next month with mutual agreement.
Iraq would be the third country to purchase these fighter jets from Pakistan. Argentina has already committed to purchase 12 fighter planes from Pakistan. Nigeria had also purchased three fighter jets from Pakistan Airforce. Agreement with Malaysia is also in the pipeline,
