Younis Khan, the former Pakistan captain who stood down from his position as the country’s batting coach earlier this year, is expected to take up a new position with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to reports in local media citing sources, the right-handed batsman, who is known for being a volatile individual, could be given the responsibility as chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Ramiz Raja is expected to create new positions, including director cricket, to carry out his cricketing plans.
Earlier, in a television broadcast, Khan counseled Ramiz Raja to ‘say less’, following the cancellation of the historic trips by England and New Zealand. “Pakistan cricket is at a standstill,” Younis claimed, claiming that teams are unwilling to travel to the country to play a cricket series.
