Lieutenant General Akhtar Nawaz, Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), has stated that all trapped tourists have been relocated to safer locations away from the disaster-stricken area of Murree.
Before the night, 371 visitors were relocated to relief camps put up by the Pakistan Army, according to the chairman of the NDMA.
In the evacuation effort, the Pakistan Army collaborated with the civil authority, according to Lieutenant General Akhtar Nawaz. In response to a question, he stated that over 90% of Murree’s roads have been restored for traffic that had been halted owing to severe snowfall.
