The DG IT-operations form PITB- the Punjab Information Technology Board had discussed fintech opportunities recently in a meeting with the country manager of Mastercard in Pakistan, Atyab Tahir.
This meeting has involved the detailed briefings related to the projects of fintech, and its benefits of the IPG- Internet Payment Gateway services that can be bought.
Mastercard has shown its interest in collaboration with the PITB and it has also lauded the journey of digital fintech of PITB, according to the PITB.
Malik Ihsan Ali, the E-Pay Punjab project director also gave a briefing on the fintech projects where the stakeholders had discussed all potential benefits of the IPG- Internet Payment Gateway services.
China Union Pay is also a key stakeholder who has shown interest for collaborating with the PITB.
PITB is actively working on the several key measures that are related to Fintech and the technology accelerator that belongs to it.
A part of government’s vision is the focus on the financial technology that is to accelerate the overall development of the financial technologies and also the revolution of digital payment systems of Pakistan that lag behind worldwide.
