Among the private universities of Pakistan University of Management and Technology (UMT) has been ranked 1st according to the newest report of Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023.
Overall ranking is based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that computes an institution’s performance as per 4 areas:
1.Teaching
2.Research
3.Knowledge Transfer
4.International Outlook
The top private sector university in Pakistan is UMT, which was included in the 501-600 band, making it one of the top 600 universities in the world.
It is pertinent to inform here that UMT took 2nd position among public & private sector universities of Pakistan that participated in WUR 2023.
President UMT, Ibrahim Hasan Murad congratulated the UMT family on this remarkable achievement and said this shows the volumes about the varsity’s focus on academic quality and research. UMT is now the leading private university according to the ranking 2023.
He further said that institute would now work on forwarded goal to become the best university of the world.
