Based on responses to questionnaires from the Global Airport Survey provided by more than 60 different nationalities of airport users throughout the study period, a new ranking of the world’s top airports has been released.
Singapore Changi Airport has been named the world’s best airport, followed by Hamad International Airport of Qatar, which has been dubbed as the most architecturally significant terminal complex in the world, according to the ranking by Skytrax, a UK-based airline and airport review and ranking site.
The accomplishment of the airport being named the greatest airport in the world for the 12th time was noted by the Chief Executive Officer of Changi Airport Group, who also said that the award is a great source of inspiration for the airport community.
