Another Feat? Indian Pilot Hits New Passenger Plane into Standing Pole

Another aviation incident involving an Indian airline has drawn attention after an IndiGo passenger aircraft reportedly collided with a docking pole while being parked at Srinagar Airport.

The aircraft, an Airbus A321 that was reportedly only around four months old, sustained damage to its front section during the incident.

Initial reports indicate that the collision occurred while the aircraft was being positioned at the airport, although the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, and all passengers and crew members were safe.

The aircraft’s condition and the extent of the damage are expected to be assessed by aviation and airline officials before any further operational decisions are made.

Airport authorities have launched an investigation to establish how the collision occurred and whether any procedural or operational factors contributed to the incident. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
