Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) on Friday announced its decision to shut down its motorbike production for 12 days, citing a shortage of inventory as a primary reason.
The motorbike manufacturing will be closed from March 20 to March 31 due to a lack of inventory, according to a notice the PSMC filed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The two-wheeler company did, however, make it clear that the auto facility will continue to run.
The business assembles, manufactures, markets, and distributes Suzuki cars, pickup trucks, vans, 4x4s, motorcycles, and related spare parts locally. The Suzuki brand, on the other hand, is Japanese.
Last month, PSMC briefly suspended its auto plan.
