Fakiha Maqsood, a Pakistani girl has recently achieved the highest marks worldwide in examination of ACCA 2021 for the exam of Advanced Taxation (ATX) with a score of 99%. Her outstanding and remarkable performance has made her a Global Star. She belongs to Faisalabad.
According to the official sources, she has also scored the highest marks in an exam of Strategic Business Reporting. However, in December 2020, Fakiha Maqsood was a National Position Holder in ACCA’s Financial Management Examination.
Her brilliant performance in exams and hard work has made her a shining star of the nation. Her academic record has always been bright as she completed her O/A levels from Pakistan with two distinctions in A Levels, in Punjab.
For her higher education she went to UK and graduated with a degree of BSc Hons. Accounting and Finance from University of London. However, this bright young girl scored second highest marks on the entire batch.
According to Fakiha, her father is also a professional accountant and he is the one behind her intellectual mind as due to her father’s discipline integrity, and composure she chooses accountancy as her career path.
Fakiha Maqsood, ACCA Global Prizewinner said, “Having studied in the UK, I knew the global recognition of ACCA and the limitless opportunities this qualification offers and that is why I enrolled myself in ACCA soon after returning to Pakistan.”
She is interested in reading books that helps her to think analytically and to broaden her imagination and perceptions regarding various things. Her interest towards travelling can also be observed by her statement, ‘I am an avid traveller’. Travelling is added in her hobbies because according to her, it helps her to plan, organize and even helps to adapt different situations and taking decisions. Not only this, her interest towards yoga has also highlighted that she is concerned for her healthy lifestyle!
According to her friends and tutors, she has always been a keen learner, a hard working person with a supportive personality trait. She usually helps her fellows regarding studies and stay as a loyal friend. Moreover, she is also afraid of failures but always tries to give her 100% towards her every task of life. Maqsood’s teachers also describe her as an enthusiastic learner, who always asks the related questions while having good listening skills.
As per the reports, her future plans after qualifying ACCA are highlighted, where she wants to play her role in the modernization of textile sector in Faisalabad. Her goal is to use her global expertise, achievements and future-focused insights acquired in ACCA where she wants to help this sector to prepare for the future challenges and revive its global standing as biggest exporting city of the World by embracing digitization, innovation and creativity.
