Mahmood Maulvi, a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf member from Karachi, has announced his resignation from the party.
Mehmood Maulvi announced his resignation from the party during a press conference at the Karachi Press Club.
He stated that Khan Sahib also gave me the ticket, that the party respected me, that I will never go against my army, that we can leave the political party but not the army, and that we cannot change the army.
He stated that he recalls the wars of 1965 and 1971 vividly. There is no one person who could not be considered India’s father. That is what we did today. I had no idea who they were. There were also people, no cleaning, and this country cannot function without the army.
Mehmood Maulvi stated that when he first joined the PTI, it was clear that it was a confused party. “I was saddened by the incident that I saw, it is not permissible to fight with the army, a hundred things are sacrificed on the army, the ship that I used to be proud of, but today they are desecrating it, not that I am going to a party or someone has offered me, I had the support of the party, the people of People who want to move the country forward will also be included.
He stated that most parties praise the army in government and later criticize it, talk to the people in the assembly, talk about the problems, don’t do things that are not transparent, and that I left my business to come here. Let a man say that I ate a rupee from someone, I want to go with honor and dignity before I leave the world, I was going to get Canadian citizenship, but I didn’t.
He claimed that when we gained power, we went against the army. Imran Khan once said, “Our army is our backbone; what will we prove by fighting the army?” Nobody has the authority to alter my software.
He demanded that those involved in the PTI be punished, as well as anyone who incites my children.
Mehmood Maulvi also resigned from his seat in the National Assembly.
It should be noted that Mehmood Maulvi was elected Member of Assembly from Karachi’s National Assembly seat NA 245 in February of this year, and he is also the Senior Vice President of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
