Murad Saeed’s Request to the President to Take Notice of the Death Threats

Murad Saeed, leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), wrote a letter to Pakistan President Dr Arif Alvi about threats to his life.

In the letter, the PTI leader detailed the stalking by unidentified individuals and threats to his life, and he asked the President to take notice of the situation.

In reference to the slain journalist Arshad Sharif, he stated that the journalist had also requested that the government take action to ensure his safety, but that nothing was done and Pakistan lost a loyal journalist and patriotic citizen.

He claims that false cases are being filed against him in the center, and that he and his family are being threatened.

“I was asked several times to move the family, but I have complete faith in Allah.”

“Mr. President, as the head of state and supreme commander of the armed forces, I hope that the negligence of state institutions and departments regarding Arshad Sharif’s letter will not be repeated,” Murad Saeed wrote.

He also stated that there was little hope for justice in a country where a FIR could not be registered against an assassination attempt on a former prime minister.
