Recently, Pakistan and China signed an agreement worth of $14 million during the Pakistan Industrial Expo 2020. In the three-day event, over 2,000 professional Pakistani businessmen participated.
According to the statement, the expo was modelled as both the Online and Offline; however, all exhibits were presented and displayed physically, and online Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings were also held via the terminal equipment installed in all booths.
The delegations of multiple chambers and associations also attended this fourth edition of the expo that includes Constructors Association of Pakistan, Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Sahiwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Swabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Peshawar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Hardware Merchants of Pakistan.
S M Naveed- the Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) President inaugurated the event. Moreover, He appreciated the Chinese businessmen who are working in Pakistan for putting up their efforts and a superb show in which the companies of the two countries Pakistan and China, showcased their potentials with enthusiasm.
All the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were followed at the expo with regards to prevention against the coronavirus. And regarding the measures that were taken for the prevention, a statement received further informed that a sanitization gate and sprayers were also installed, temperature testers and the alcohol wipes were also provided, and booth for hand sanitizer was available for all.
