Former President Donald Trump has gone to a court in Miami because he is facing 37 criminal charges. These charges are related to how he handled secret documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
It’s the first time a former US president has had to deal with federal charges. People think Trump will say he is not guilty of all the charges. He was also charged in another case by a grand jury in Manhattan for paying hush money. Trump says he didn’t do anything wrong in either case.
He still wants to be involved in politics and plans to run for president again in 2024. Trump will speak to the public on Tuesday night when he goes back to his resort in New Jersey.
