Amidst the predicted dangers of Biparjoy, more than 64,000 people have been evacuated from the nearby areas around the coastline in Sindh.
The areas of Thatta, Badin, and Sujawal have been moved out to avoid any risk of colossal damage. Residents of these areas have been shifted to safer places. Around 13,000 locals have been evacuated from Keti Bandar, 8,300 from Sujawal, 9,000 from Badin, 1,900 from Shaheed Fazil Rahu Taluka, 5000 from Jati and Gharo, and 8,300 from Shahbandar.
As per today’s statistics, the cyclone is now 350 kilometers south of Karachi. The cyclone is expected to reach the coastline of India and Sindh on Thursday. People are therefore requested to avoid any visit to the coastline.
