Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Max, not an Android handset, is currently the best-selling smartphone in the world.
Smartphone sales statistics company Omdia has revealed the top-selling phones for the first half of 2023.
The article claims that Apple sold over 26.5 million iPhone 14 Pro Max devices between January and June of 2023.
With 2.1 million units sold, the iPhone 14 Pro from Apple is in second place.
The third highest selling smartphone in the world was Apple’s iPhone 14 with 1.65 million units sold.
Apple’s iPhone 13 is also on the fourth spot, with 1.55 million units sold.
With 1.24 million devices sold between January and June, the South Korean corporation Samsung’s Galaxy A14 ranked fifth in the segment.
Although consumers’ purchasing power has been declining as a result of rising prices around the world, iPhones continue to be a hot commodity.
iPhones also dominated the world’s best-selling phones from January to March 2023.
During the first three months of 2018, Apple produced the top four best-selling smartphones.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max was the best-selling smartphone throughout the world during that time.
Following closely behind were the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14, and iPhone 13.
