The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that Pakistani pilgrims will have the opportunity to take a part in short-term Hajj starting next year.
Aneeq Ahmed, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs said, “The new deal would be 18-20 days long, adding that pilgrims will be allowed to select this or long stay package”.
Typically, the deal provided to pilgrims is around 35 to 50 days in duration. This deal includes accommodation, transportation, and meals.
During the meeting of Religious Affairs, it was suggested that the duration of short hajj should be 18-30 days.
According to quota allocated by Saudi Arabia, the application receive for Hajj 2023 were below than quota, as the cost of hajj increase this year.
