According to news, the Punjab Ministry of Education has officially launched a program’ Insaf School upgrade’ for upgrading 8,360 primary schools to the status of elementary schools across the province during the year.
According to the notification released by the provincial education department, this project will expense Rs6.5 billion. And in this program, 20,000 school teachers will be hired temporarily. Also, middle classes will be allowed to run in primary schools in the evening time, similarly higher classes will be carried out in middle schools and higher secondary classes will be conducted in high schools in the evening shift.
The notice further stated that the authentication of all such upgraded schools will begin from June 24 and a formal notification in this respect will be released on July 15.
The recruitment of teachers for these schools will be held in the following month, the age limit for female teachers is specified between 20 to 55 years while for male teachers between 20 to 50 years. While Matric to graduation with second division has been established the minimum qualification for the recruitment of teachers, as mentioned in the notification.
Also Under this program, primary teachers will be given Rs18,000 salary, middle-class teachers Rs20,000, high-class teachers Rs25,000, and higher secondary school teachers Rs30,000 respectively.
