The UAE’s opening of a field hospital in the Gaza Strip is part of the Gallant Knight 3 humanitarian operation initiated by President Sheikh Mohamed. The hospital, equipped with 150 beds, aims to provide aid and medical care to injured Palestinian residents in Gaza.
It features departments for various medical needs, including general surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, women’s health, anesthesia, and intensive care for both children and adults.
Additionally, the hospital offers clinics in internal medicine, dentistry, psychiatric treatment, and family medicine. It provides CAT scan services, a laboratory, and a pharmacy. The establishment of this hospital is a response to the ongoing conflict and the critical need for medical assistance in the region.
