Afghanistan cricketer’s Indian visa was delayed due to his family ties with Pakistan

Afghanistan cricketer Asghar Afghan’s Indian visa delayed due to his family’s ties with Pakistan.The star cricketer has revealed that he would be taking part in the current Legends League Cricket in 2022. However, things did not go as planned because he has yet to acquire a visa to visit India.

Asghar Afghan officially announced his retirement from international cricket. After the end of Afghanistan’s T20 World Cup 2021 clash against Namibia on October 31 last year. He was an integral member of the Afghanistan cricket team that won the silver medal in the 2010 edition of the Guangzhou Asian Games.

According to Asghar, he applied for a visa to participate in the competition about six weeks ago. He is hoping, though, that he will receive his visa soon and will be able to join his team, the India Capitals. It is led by two-time World Cup winner Gautam Gambhir.
