Shahid Afridi, the most loved and popular all-rounder of Pakistan Cricket team along with former captains Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq are set to make a comeback in Over-40 World Cup to be held from 23rd September to 8th October in Karachi.
The Chairman of Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA), Fawad Ijaz Khan, the PVCA Director, Nadeem Omar, Shahid Afridi, and the CEO of Shahid Afridi Foundation, Zafar Malik took the decision unanimously.
Eight teams will participate in the tournament including USA, Canada, UAE, Australia, West Indies, and Saudi Arabia.
Moreover, As stated by the PVCA press release, the popular Shahid Afridi Foundation will be the Corporate Social Responsibility partner of Over-40 World Cup.
The announcement has escalated the excitement of cricket fans to witness the most exceptional cricket match involving the top players of Pakistan.
