“All Govt & Private Schools Will Not Reopen Before August 24,” Rana Sikandar Hayat

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced that all government and private schools across Punjab will remain closed until August 24. The decision applies to educational institutions across the province and has been taken under the official school reopening schedule.

The provincial government has instructed school administrations to strictly follow the notified dates and has warned them not to reopen before the announced date. Both public and private schools are required to follow these instructions and continue the closure until the government allows academic activities to resume.

The education department has made it clear that schools should not make their own decisions about reopening. School managements are expected to follow the official schedule and wait for further instructions from the Punjab government.

Parents and students have also been advised to remain updated through official government announcements. They should avoid relying on unconfirmed information regarding the reopening of schools. Parents are encouraged to stay in contact with their children’s schools for any updates about classes, schedules or other academic activities.

School administrations have been asked to ensure that all instructions are properly followed during the closure period. Any changes to the reopening plan will be communicated through official channels.

According to the announcement, schools across Punjab are expected to resume normal academic activities after August 24, unless the government issues any new instructions.

The extended closure means students will have to wait until the announced reopening date before returning to classrooms. The government has urged everyone, including parents, students and school managements, to cooperate and follow the official schedule.
