Federal Information Technology Minister, Syed Aminul Haque said Thursday that more than 900,000 incidents of hacking take place every day in Pakistan.
The IT minister went on to say, praising his ministry as he addressed an event in Islamabad, that his ministry thwarts 900,000 hacking attempts daily.
Haque said, “Your IT ministry stays awake so that you can sleep peacefully,”
He said the National Broadband Policy 2021 and National Cyber Policy were posted to the website of the IT ministry while work on the edition spectrum was underway.
Haque said the taxation issue will soon be resolved and efforts would be made to launch 5G in Pakistan by December 2022.
