Alveera Hamza, the widow of martyred Lieutenant Commander Hamza Abid, has achieved a remarkable milestone by joining the Pakistan Navy as a commissioned officer in the Information Technology branch. She earned the prestigious Commandant Gold Medal for her outstanding performance during training.
Alveera’s journey is a powerful story of courage and love for her country. Her husband, Lieutenant Commander Hamza Abid, laid down his life in service to the nation. Inspired by his sacrifice, Alveera decided to follow in his footsteps and wear the naval uniform. She completed her bachelor’s degree in computer science before joining the special IT branch of the Pakistan Navy.
