Android 12 will notify when Apps use the camera or microphone

Android 12 will include a feature that will show when an app is using the smartphone’s microphone or camera, in addition to a substantial design revamp.

The feature is not currently available on the system, which was recently published in a prior version, according to Android Police.

On the other hand, Google has verified that the innovation will be included in Android 12’s second beta.

When the camera and microphone functionalities are turned on, the new version of the operating system will display a camera and microphone sign on the top bar of the screen.

The app will provide easy management options to prevent using the sensors and notifying the user of sound and image recording.

Android 12 will include a “privacy center” in addition to enabling camera and microphone access settings.

The user interface will show which apps have access to cell phone functionality in great detail.
